سپَ به زبان اکدی ایشپرداپ به زبان ایلامی سپاردا به زبان پارسی است، که سارد مرکز لیدیه هرودوت در ارمنستان امروزی است، و با تفسیرات امروزی مبنی بر اینکه این مکان در غرب رود قزل ایرماق امروزی است، هیچ همخوانی ندارد.
این سند دست اول محل حمله کوروش کبیر است، لذا ایراداتی که به هرودوت در وصف این مکان می گیرند، (مطابق با خواسته مفسر نیست و با مکان تفسیر شده لیدی در غرب قزل ایرماق مطابقت ندارد). هیچکدام وارد نیست.
